Comedian Chelsea Handler has added a second performance to her tour stop at The University of Texas at Austin’s Bass Concert Hall on Friday, April 16.

Handler will perform at Bass Concert Hall at 10:30p.m., in addition to the April 16 8 p.m. show.

“Fighting Back: The 1923 KKK Trials”

In 1923, a team of Williamson County prosecutors obtained a guilty verdict that resulted in jail time for several KKK members of the Georgetown Klavern involved in kidnapping, beating and tarring a man.

The museum presents the opening of its latest exhibit. Drinks and snacks will be provided.

Five Southern women, whose friendships began many years ago on their college swim team, set aside a long weekend every August to recharge those relationships. Free from husbands, kids and jobs, they meet at the same beach cottage on North Carolina’s Outer Banks to catch up, laugh and meddle in each other’s lives.
