Training turned real as plane hit Echelon 1

Within 150 seconds of when Joseph Andrew Stack’s Piper Cherokee airplane exploded into the offices of the Echelon 1 building, Pflugerville firefighters were entering the flaming edifice to search for and rescue those trapped inside.

AUSTIN – The Hendrickson High girls basketball team’s dream season had a bit of a nightmare ending as the Hawks fell 75-45 to LBJ at the Delco Center on Wednesday.

After finding themselves trailing 1-0 at the break, the Pflugerville Lady Panthers soccer team rallied to score three goals in the second half and then held on for a 3-2 win over the Bastrop Lady Bears Friday night at Kuempel Stadium.
