1 Hendrickson High swimmer Micaela Moncada finished third in the girls 100-yard breaststroke consolation final at last weekend’s state meet.
Moncada, the lone PISD participant, completed the consolation race in 1:09.56. She placed 11th in her preliminary heat in 1:09.55.
It’s not possible to finish 11th in a “heat”. She must have finished 11th in the preliminaries, which can include multiple heats. (There are only 8 entries in a heat.)
