Three Connally High soccer players were recently named to the Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Academic All-State team. Servando Borja, Fabricio Aleman and William Soto were all recognized by the association for their work on the field and in the classroom.

The Cougars also had four players named to the District 25-5A team. Goalkeeper Brooks Grubb and midfielder Bryan Gavarrete were first-team picks. Borja (midfield) and forward Jeff Anumu were second-team picks.
