For the first time in a long time there is no gold medal coming back to Pflugerville from the state track meet.

Cougar Brittany Roberts placed seventh in the shot put (39-feet, 6- inches) which was the third best finish for local athletes.

Bryant placed eighth in the 100 (10.85). Hendrickson’s Tasha Mayne was eighth in the 800 (2:25.36) while teammate Shavona Tavarez was eighth in the triple jump (35-02). Pflugerville’s LaShawnda Simmons finished eighth in the 200 (25.12).
