The Pflugerville High 7-on-7 football team will open pool play in the state 7-on-7 tournament against Lewisville High School at 1 p.m. Friday at Texas A&M University. The other teams in the Panthers’ pool are El Paso Chapin and Pearland Dawson. The Panthers take on Chapin at 3 p.m. and finish the day against Dawson. The top two teams from the pool advance to the single-elimination championship bracket on Saturday while the bottom two teams play in the consolation bracket.
