Seven elementary schools from around Pflugerville Independent School District sent their top Spanish spellers to Highland Park Elementary School recently for the district’s first Spanish Spelling Bee.

The youthful Pflugerville Panthers suffered a heartbreaking 6-4 district loss to the Round Rock Dragons on Friday night in extra innings.

The Pflugerville Panthers got a complete game out of Kevyn Torres and their offense put up 10 runs en route to a 10-2 victory over the Westwood Warriors on Friday night in 16-5A baseball action.
