Founded in 1980, the Pflugerville Pflag is a Texas Press Association award-winning weekly newspaper, which publishes every Thursday. The newspaper reaches 18,000 readers each week and covers city and school news and has one of the top sports sections for a newspaper of its size in the state. The Pflag is part of Austin Community Newspapers which includes the Round Rock Leader, Westlake Picayune, Lake Travis View, Cedar Park Citizen, Leander Ledger, North Lake Travis LOG, Bastrop Advertiser and the Smithville Times.
