The city of Pflugerville also reached its projected 21 percent sales tax increase for the fiscal year (September 2008-August 2009), according to the state of Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts sales tax summary, Pflugerville City Hall and the Greater Pflugerville Chamber of Commerce.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs in December said the state collected $1.70 billion in sales tax in November, down 14.4 percent compared to November 2008.
