Connally High’s Marcel Pimpton as well as Stony Point’s Nate Anderson, Round Rock’s Sydney Deloach and McNeil’s Robert Waters and Hayden Worrell have been selected to play in the Central Texas Coaches All-Star game.

Connally High School head football coach/athletic coordinator Howard McMahan announced Thursday afternoon that the Cougars had secured the services of Mansfield Timberview coach Candi Harvey to head up their girls basketball program next year.

COLLEGE STATION – The Pflugerville High girls basketball team lost just one time this year, unfortunately for the Panthers that loss came Tuesday night in the region quarterfinal round of the 5A playoffs.

It was a close game, but not close enough for the Pflugerville High boys basketball team to overcome the Anderson Trojans, as the Panthers fell 72-61 in the bi-district round of the playoffs Tuesday night.
