Volleyball – Hawks swept by Red Oak

WACO — The Hendrickson High volleyball team, which for so long seemed like an unstoppable force, finally hit the immovable object in the third round of the 4A playoffs as the Hawks fell to Red Oak 25-18, 25-11, 25-13 at Midway High on Tuesday.

WACO — The Connally High volleyball team’s season came to an end in the region quarterfinals at the hands of a Waxahachie team that swept the Cougars 26-24, 26-24, 25-22 at Midway High on Tuesday night.
